KAIPAN
Mein Name ist Kai Schäfer, bin in Leipzig geboren und möchte Euch kurz erklären, warum ich tue was ich mache!
Ausschlaggebend waren Freunde, Freidenker und Schöngeister die ihrer Kreativität und ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf lassen und Freude an ihrem tun haben. Mich beeindruckte dieses Lebensgefühl vom positivem Denken, der künstlerischer Freiheit und dieser fantastischen Lebenseinstellung. Ich fühlte mich wohl und wollte ein Teil davon sein und mich mit meinem Geist und Seele inspirieren lassen. Schon der Gedanke beflügelte mich und so begann ich!
Warum Pilze? Ich habe gute Erfahrungen mit diesem Produkt unserer Natur gemacht ... suchen, finden, zubereiten und geniessen. So kam eins zum anderen und ich wollte etwas erschaffen was es so noch nicht gibt!
Ich habe Freude daran etwas zu erschaffen und zu sehen wie etwas entsteht und Gestalt annimmt.
Je länger ich darüber nachdachte, desto mehr Ideen hatte ich und mein Ehrgeiz war geweckt.
Ein Pilz besteht in der Regel aus Drahtgeflecht, Gips, UV/Farbe, (Gouache Liquide, Acryl & Dispersionsfarbe) Stoff, Wolle, Plastik und wiederverwendbaren Materialien. Das Grundgerüst besteht aus Drahtgeflecht (3-5mm) und je nach Grösse verwende ich Rundstäbe zur Verstärkung. Verkleidet werden die Pilze mit Gipsbinden, was zusätzliche Stabilität verleiht. Um das umfallen zu vermeiden, wird Gips als Gewicht verwendet. Mit Haftgrund und Farbe, sind die Vorbereitungen abgeschlossen.
Zum Schluss wird eine Klarlack oder Silikonschicht aufgetragen um den Pilz vor Feuchtigkeit, Staub und ausbleichen zu schützen.
Garantie gibt es Keine!
Warum? Jeder Pilz ist ein Unikat und da ich mir alles selbst beibringe, also auch wie die verschiedene Stoffe z.B. Farben miteinander harmonieren etc. kann ich nicht zu 100% sagen, wie sich alles mit der Zeit verhält ... Theorie & Praxis!
Das Feedback zu den Pilze ist Super und liess mich weiter machen. So bekam ich auch die Möglichkeit, die Pilze auf kleinen Events aus zu stellen und mir wurde die Ehre zuteil, das Logo für einen Freund anzufertigen. Einige Pilze wurden verkauft und fanden eine neues zu Hause.
So beschloss ich eine Webseite zu erstellen um so meine Pilze zu präsentieren.
Das Projekt Kai Pan war geboren!
Der Pan, ein griechische Mischwesen (Hirtengott) welches Freude an Tanz, Musik und Fröhlichkeit hat,dessen Hirtenstab die Natur der Dinge symbolisiert.

My name is Kai Schäfer, I was born in Leipzig and I would like to explain briefly why I am doing what I do!
The decisive factors were friends, free thinkers and beautiful spirits who let their creativity and imagination run wild and enjoy their actions. This feeling of life impressed me with the positive thinking, the artistic freedom and this fantastic attitude to life. I felt comfortable and wanted to be part of it and be inspired by my spirit and soul.
Even the thought inspired me and so I started!
Why mushrooms? I have had a good experience with this product of our nature... search, find, prepare and enjoy. So came one to the other and I wanted to create something that does not exist yet!
I enjoy creating something and seeing something emerge and take shape.
The longer I thought about it, the more ideas I had and my ambition was awakened.
A fungus usually consists of wire mesh, plaster, UV/paint, (gouache liquid, acrylic and dispersion color) fabric, wool, plastic and reusable materials. The basic structure consists of wire mesh (3-5mm) and depending on the size I use rods for reinforcement. The mushrooms are clad with plaster, which gives additional stability. To avoid falling, plaster is used as a weight. With primer and color, the preparations are complete.
Finally, a clear coat or silicone layer is applied to protect the fungus from moisture, dust and bleaching.
There is no guarantee!
Why? Every mushroom is unique and since I teach myself everything, so also how the different fabrics, e.g. colors harmonize with each other etc. I can not say to 100% how everything behaves with time... Theory & Practice!
The feedback on the mushrooms is great and let me continue. So I also got the opportunity to put the mushrooms on small events and I was given the honor to make the logo for a friend. Some mushrooms were sold and found a new home.
So I decided to create a website to present my mushrooms.
The project Kai Pan was born!
The pan, a Greek mixed creature (Shepherd God) which has joy in dance, music and Cheerfulness, whose shepherd's staff symbolizes the nature of things.
